High ornate ceilings, wood paneling, a grand working fireplace, marble columns and a façade of windows overlooking Yale University in the Grand Ballroom salon, provides an unparalleled old world sophisticated atmosphere and serves as the perfect template for an elegant affair. Natural light from oversized French doors floods the room and can be opened to bring in fresh air. Separated by murals of New Haven Harbor in the foyer, the Sherman Room is the perfect space for smaller intimate weddings and rehearsal dinners for lovers of fine dining with full privacy. The entire first floor main dining room and Clubroom are available for larger celebrations.

All rooms at the Union League Cafe offer complimentary wireless internet. Our Ballroom and Sherman Room both offer hard-wired internet access, by request. The Sherman Room features an automated screen for presentations. Additionally, full-service audio/visual support is available for all your needs.
